“I can’t believe you wanted to play monopoly again,” I muttered as CX returned from the bar with another round of shots. “And that’s my last one. This stuff is nasty and it gave me a hangover from hell last time.”

“It gave us all hangovers from hell,” JongB agreed. “Only we all have a show tomorrow night, so I agree with making this the last round of Sputnik.”

“Krupnik,” MinMin corrected him. “As we told you last time, Sputnik is a spaceship.”

“Sputnik is a satellite,” CX told us, calmly. He sat down and rolled the dice, and then he moved his car to the electricity utility. “And I bought it because I need some liquid courage.”

We had been drinking since before the meal, so I was skating the thin line between tipsy and drunk. I was sure the others were too, especially JongB who would never admit it but didn’t hold his liquor as well as everyone else.

“What do you need liquid courage for?” JongB asked.

CX leaned over and picked up one of the shots, swallowing it in one and pulling a face before “I want to pick up where we left off the last time we were in Poland.” His voice was level, but as he set the shot glass down and rolled the dice, I could see his hand shaking.

Why was his hand shaking? What did we need to pick up… Oh!

My head shot up, my stare meeting MinMin’s. He’d worked that one out a few seconds quicker than I had.

JongB’s frown, on the other hand, suggested he hadn’t quite worked it out. “What are we picking up?” he asked.

CX picked up the dog and moved it several spaces, setting it down on a yellow street which had one of JongB’s hotels on it. “Sex. The four of us, or,” he shrugged. “You can watch,” he replied to JongB.

Genetics had given JongB beautiful, oval eyes. Right now, they were almost bulging out of his head. “I thought you were going to ask MinMin, not this,” he spluttered, vaguely gesturing at the four of us sitting around the table.

“Huh?” I asked, looking between MinMin and CX. “Ask what?”

“I did,” CX responded, calmly. “And I liked it.”

“You and MinMin hooked up?” JongB looked like he was going to implode.

“We did, and I liked it,” CX repeated. He sat back in his chair and looked at me. I was surprised, but not to JongB’s extent. More than anything, I had a little happy smirk on my face. “I wondered if you wanted to join in this time?”

It was a good thing no one in this bar spoke Korean otherwise we would be getting some interesting looks right now. “I think it’s time to put the Monopoly away,” I told him.

“Whoa!” JongB exclaimed. He put his hand down over MinMin’s as the younger man started collecting the pieces up. “Hang on, are you telling me that you’re all down for a threesome?”

“Wouldn’t be our first,” MinMin replied before I could.

JongB’s mouth fell open. “What?” he demanded, the word sounding more like a squeak.
